The Blue Jeans Monster (1991) is a total farcical parody of the American film DEAD HEAT and several other films. Shing Fui-On gets chance to star in his own film. He plays a dedicated cop who’s wife is about to give birth to a child. But fate deals him a bad hand as he’s gunned down in the middle of a shoot out. Surprisingly, he doesn’t “die” during the gun battle. Fui-On becomes a living corpse. He’s that determined to see his wife give birth. Due to a gut wound, he has to keep his jeans tight so his entrails don’t fall out. Since he’s a monster, his strength and mood have become beast like. Can Fui-On keep it together until he sees his son? Will he get revenge on those he murdered him? Co-stars Amy Yip. Highly recommended.
